Where's the Wisconsin Resolution to Impeach?

We hear that the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has adopted a resolution to ask for the impeachment of George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld. However, this little factoid has been remarkably difficult to find!

CALLING ON THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS TO INITIATE IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS AGAINST PRESIDENT BUSH, VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY AND DEFENSE SECRETARY RUMSFELD FOR HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS

WHEREAS, the Downing Street Memo shows that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld began planning and executing the war on Iraq before seeking Congressional and UN approval;

WHEREAS, UN weapons inspectors showed prior to the invasion that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq; and

WHEREAS, there is further mounting evidence that the Administration lied or misled about "mushroom clouds," "connections to 9/11," and "war as a last resort" as they sought UN, Congressional, and public approvals;

THEREFORE, RESOLVED, the DPW asks Congress to immediately begin impeachment proceedings against President Bush, Vice President Cheney and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld.

I found mention of it in Daily Kos (ColdFusion04), the Big Brass Alliance, the Purple Cheese blog, the Portland blog pdxleft, and a French blog, Bellaciao. The Door County, Wisconsin Democrats website claims there is no MSM coverage of this, and I am hard pressed to dispute them.

A French blog has it, and our own so-called media do not.

It's definitely time to start pushing for impeachment. Bush and his cronies need to be answering some questions--and not just at a news conference.

Karlo, it's way past time, but at least we're hearing talk about it outside the rarefied air of the left-wing blogosphere!

Can we do that? Impeach all three? What an outstanding idea!!!
Oh, by the way, who replaces them? What's the line of succession? Please tell me it's not Frist or DeLay.

Wanda, here's the sad news...this is a comment from Mr. M of Left of Center, on an earlier post of mine:

"Here's why you don't impeach Bush...

Bush out, Cheney in...

Cheney out, Dennis Hastert in...

Dennis Hastert out, Senator Ted Stevens in...

Who's Ted Stevens? He's the President Pro Tempore, and a Republican Senator from Alaska. And, might I further mention, he's very conservative.

Ted Stevens out, Condi Rice is in

Condi Rice out, Sec of Treasury John Snow is in, he might be our safest bet, but let's assume that since we've gotten this far, the Republicans might work to get him out of office. Especially in order to get the next in line in office.

John Snow is out, Rummie is in...

Rummie is out, Gonzo is in...

What's the point? Here's the point. As tempting as it may seem to get rid of a president by impeaching, and convicting, him, it's just not a good idea if you are trying to do so because of ideology. This is because you have a long chain to go before you get to someone you would actually want sitting in the big chair."

This is the fly in the ointment for me - as much as I want to be rid of these thugs, there's just so damn many of them. That's why they're so hard to stop, unlike Clinton, who was just a governor from Arkansas without the power base of the "Bush Crime Family" - these people have been in cahoots for years - literally since Nixon. Clinton was easy pickins. He didn't come from money and power.

Have you ever read Webster Tarpley's bio of Bush Sr. and the family origins?

I guess the sclm doesn't read blogs. However, they need to think about where the blogs got the information blogged about.
