Mike Malloy Show

Mike Malloy said tonight that he's going to read my "Fighting Chance" post (which I sent him in an e-mail) on the air tomorrow night (Wednesday). So if you feel like it, check out Mike on Air America tomorrow night (or tonight, whatever it is when you read this...)

Thanks, Crabby! I love his show; when I need to feel that someone else is as outraged as I am, that's where I go!

That is terrific, Alicia! Yay! on writing letters and getting them read... on air no less!

Every little bit helps, I think. It's time to 'catapult the propaganda'! (I'd love to know who thought that one up!)

Thanks, Mr. M! I just throw it all against the wall and see what sticks...once in a while something sticks.

Alicia,

Being raised a republican and then marrying a democrat I have struggled with this administration since 2000. I finally starting doing my recommended 5 new sources a day and am truly amazed at the hypocrisy that sits in the White House. I came across your site while doing research on the Downing Street Memo. Thank you for being a voice!! As a mother, I worry about the future of America and what kinds of freedoms they may not have that I have taken for granted too long.

BTW, I would like to recommend this site for anyone who needs to fully grasp the number of soldiers killed in defeating the "evildoers of our time."

Hi Rachel -

Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm a mom, too, and a stepmom of a draft-aged young man, and I don't mind telling you that I'm badly scared. I was raised a Democrat, but I have never been terrified of the 'loyal opposition' until 2000. Then again, we've never been in this Orwellian situation before.

I have no problem with real Republicans, real conservatives, even when I disagree with their positions. But all bets are off here. I can't trust that my vote will count; I can't trust that I'm being told the truth by my government - I can't even trust that they were duly elected! These are the most basic tenets of our freedom, and it feels like it's all slipping away so fast. I'm trying to stay mad instead of scared, so as to be effective instead of paralyzed.

As long as I know there are people out there that see the same things going on, I don't feel so alone, crazy,or helpless. It's going to take Republicans and Democrats to get this done with any credibility. So thank you for adding your voice to the mix!
