Hooterville On MSNBC Site - the Little Weblog That Could!

I don't know how it happened, but somehow this site was listed on MSNBC.com - Connected Coast to Coast with Ron Reagan and Monica Crowley - as one of 5 blogs that are talking about the Downing Street Memo! The other sites are AfterDowningStreet.org, DowningStreetMemo.com, our own Big Brass Alliance, and MyDD.com...august company indeed!

As a relatively insignificant little blog, I'm stunned. But I'm really, really happy to be a part of getting this information into the mainstream!

It just goes to show that every little bit counts, y'all...I'm a nobody, but I'm part of making a difference. We all can be. If I'm not too small, you're not either.

Congratulations! That's wonderful!

Getting mentioned on MSNBC is really quite an accomplishment. Thanks for furthering the cause.

To try to keep the story alive, I managed to get my blog listed on the AfterDowningStreet.org site by writing them and disseminating information. I agree it's worth pushing for. I also email all the main tv news stations daily. It has become my daily ritual.

I am in Los Angeles as well and when I saw your profile interests, I cracked up. Christopher Guest movies and SCTV are at the top of my list as well.

AND I have two very spoilt doggies, so I know the 'human infant' syndrome. Actually mine thinks she's Cleopatra.

Anyway, I found you through arse poetica, I think. Nice to meet another LA progressive woman blogger.

Best!

Thanks, Marie - yes, I'm reveling in my 15 seconds of fame, before sinking back into obscurity!

Just kidding - I'm really enjoying all the cool, interesting people I'm meeting through this blog, and I'm encouraged about the feeling that we're starting to get somewhere.

YAY! That is IMPRESSIVE! Good for you... and you are right. We need to talk these things up. I need to worry about that Sensenbrenner thing and figure out what I want to post.
