I'm not sure yet that he hasn't ended America as an indivisible nation.I rather think he probably has, truth be told.Jolly Rogerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15386411633471396349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9194369.post-66531466071697782422008-07-09T12:08:00.000-07:002008-07-09T12:08:00.000-07:00Yes, =RD=, I did find the majority of the info on ...Yes, =RD=, I did find the majority of the info on Ancestry. I have subscribed and it's been well worth it for me. I had a list of family connections from my grandmother of the McCrackens but the rest of it came from Ancestry.

Good luck on your search - if you don't want to subscribe, email me privately and I'll send you an invitation to my account, which means you can start a tree of your own.Alicia Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14458700009032102949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9194369.post-61888305877779422492008-07-09T07:59:00.000-07:002008-07-09T07:59:00.000-07:00This is so cool, Ali - congratulations on finding ...This is so cool, Ali - congratulations on finding out about your roots.

I only wish I could be as successful. It would seem that Patrick Henry was supposedly in my family tree somewhere on my maternal Grandmother's side (her maiden name was still Henry). She used to talk about it all the time when we were kids.

Got some research to do... I'm wondering if you found most of your info at ancestry.com...

Peace,
=RD=Rainbow Demonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01161389187746802804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9194369.post-86168530736052007032008-07-06T17:36:00.000-07:002008-07-06T17:36:00.000-07:00I'm so cracked out that I actually went to the LDS...I'm so cracked out that I actually went to the LDS place in Santa Monica that has all the records and microfilms that you can't get online. I meant to only be there a couple of hours, but I ended up being there 5 hours. Now that I know how to use the microfilm viewer, I'll be able to find more info, especially about the relatives who came to New York in the 1860s from Ireland who I can't trace online. It's like a trip in a time machine. I love it.Alicia Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14458700009032102949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9194369.post-69825035675149013082008-07-06T02:27:00.000-07:002008-07-06T02:27:00.000-07:00i also find the whole family tree fascinatingi did...i also find the whole family tree fascinating

i did it a couple of years ago for my parents 50th anniversary.

i got back as far as my father's great-grandfather -- 1870's in poland -- i even got his wedding certificate (in polish) -- the catholic church in poland actually tried to keep all the records, even the jews, from being destroyed by the Nazis -- and they did a decent job. also the mormons are very good with the family records. they have a ton.

very coolDistributorcaphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10149154929149577121noreply@blogger.com
