It isn't divided along party lines; rather it is used by people who need to climb over others to prove their own self-worth. You'll see bumper stickers saying things like "My grandchild is cuter than your grandchild" and "My God is better than your God", and so on. <BR/><BR/>If one has confidence in their own beliefs, one doesn't need to force feed them on others; nor do they need to belittle others.
