OPTC on Winograd Watchdog!

Today, I attended a meeting of the Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles, along with Helen Wheels and DivaJood. I have done volunteer work for the Dem Party and some candidates before, but I've never actually gotten involved on this particular level. It was informative, inspiring and very educational.

Helen and Jood and I had a fabulous time. After our blistering liberal activism, we enjoyed a leisurely lunch in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Marcy Winograd has posted my "Preaching To The Choir" letter on her new blog, "Winograd Watchdog - Democracy's Best Friend"! I love that name. And that cute little dog on the banner is hers, too.

We had a GOOD time. The meeting was great, in an organizational sort of way, but lunch was wicked fun. Alicia, Helen Wheels and I all share the same sense of humor, so there. Hey, Alicia, I forgot to tell you, the purple flower in the hair was all summery!

Thanks, Diva - it's fun and it keeps my newly-cut bangs out of my eyes. I had a ball with you two zany gals! I have to say, we are troublemakers when we get together.
